Album is Folder
The first thing to consider is how to create a safe place to keep photos. JetPhoto saves photos in albums. Actually, each album package is one special folder placed on your computer disks, which contains the original digital photo files and the metadata saved in XML file. To some extent, JetPhoto Studio is a browser to view the content of photo album folder. It's not necessary to change your previous experience to handle photo files. Actually, user can regard an album as a normal folder to move, copy, duplicate or backup it, as well as open album by double-clicking its folder icon in any Windows file browsing window.
Archive and Backup
It's very easy and clear, you could place albums in different folders to flexibly categorize your albums on your computer disks. And no more complicated action is needed to backup albums, just copy them onto CD/DVD by any general CD burning software.
JetPhoto Studio can download photos directly from connected camera or memory card reader, and acquire live images from webcam or scanner. Also, allows to import external photo files with drag-and-drop.
Once album is opened, JetPhoto Studio provides a Thumbnail view to browse photos. The matched photo icons will be spotlighted in Thumbnail view when search photos with keywords or filter photos with timeline. In this case, JetPhoto needn't to hide unmatched photo icons, and keeps the interrelation of photos well.
Double-click a photo thumbnail, the full picture appears in Detail view of album window. Move mouse pointer to an interesting part on picture, press and hold mouse button to show a magnifier in which the zoomed accurate image with actual pixels of the original photo is displayed.
Notes and Keyword Tags
First, user can write notes and set keyword tags for each picture or multi-selected pictures. These text-based comments are searchable on your personal computer and the website using JetPhoto Server, as well as your Flickr area.
For most people the easiest and most efficient method to organize photos is based on the date and time when the photos were taken. Using JetPhoto, you can log your travel by taking photos, or use digital camera to compose your multimedia diary. JetPhoto Studio offers a calendar interface to help user review photos. There is nothing for you to do!! JetPhoto obtains the photo capture time automatically and properly, as long as photos are imported from a digital camera. The specified date or time user took photos will be highlighted in Month View or Week View. In this way, user can quickly pick out the needed photos by timeline.
Camera EXIF Tags
Besides image data, some additional information is also automatically recorded into camera while taking a shot. Camera Model, Aperture (F Number), Shutter Speed, Focal Length and more camera status data are saved in EXIF segment enclosed in JPEG photo file. JetPhoto Studio can read and list all of these information items.
